Dheia Mohsin

Physiotherapist in Prestons

Hi, I'm Dheia, a physiotherapist with a genuine passion for helping people move better, feel stronger and get back to doing the things they enjoy. I've always had a strong interest in movement and sport, but what I value most about physiotherapy is getting to know each person, understanding what matters to them and making their recovery feel purposeful.

My clinical experience has exposed me to a broad range of conditions, injuries and stages of recovery — from everyday aches and persistent pain to post-operative rehabilitation, workplace injuries and sporting presentations. I enjoy combining hands-on treatment with structured, individualised rehabilitation to achieve meaningful and lasting results.

With football/soccer being a big part of my life, I've naturally developed a strong interest in sports rehabilitation, as well as lower back and spinal conditions. No matter the presentation, I believe treatment should feel personal and collaborative, with each plan shaped around the individual, their goals and what they want to get back to doing.

What to expect from physiotherapy

A physiotherapy appointment starts with a conversation about the problem, how it began and what you want to return to doing. The physiotherapist can then assess your movement and explain the next steps that may be appropriate for you.

Depending on the assessment, a physiotherapy plan may include hands-on care, exercises, activity guidance or advice for managing the issue between appointments. The approach is selected for the individual, so no particular technique or result can be promised before an assessment.
