Dr Emad Elmasry is the Director and founding Chiropractor of Prestons Injury Therapy. His approach combines soft tissue work, trigger point therapy, Hijama, dry needling, joint mobilisations, rehabilitation exercises and adjustments to deliver lasting relief.

Emad places strong emphasis on lifestyle and preventative strategies alongside treatment, empowering clients to take an active role in their own wellness journey. With over a decade playing rugby league and extensive resistance-training experience, he brings real insight into managing athletic and occupational stress — and into helping people get back to the activities they love.

Jason Tran is a Physiotherapist who uses personalised treatment plans and a goal-oriented strategy to ensure maximum recovery, focusing on the underlying cause rather than symptoms alone. He integrates exercise science with evidence-based physiotherapy to build each patient's strength and resilience.

His skills include sports massage, joint mobilisations, cupping, adjustments, targeted strengthening and WorkCover rehabilitation. Jason has a special interest in high-performance athletes — particularly strength athletes — and in knee, shoulder, lower-back and gym-related injuries. As a competitor in Strongman and Powerlifting both nationally and internationally, he brings a unique understanding of athletic demands and recovery.

Akin Konak

Sports Therapist

Akin Konak is a Sports Therapist with over 15 years' experience in biomechanics and body movement. With a 20-year background in soccer and 10 years as a representative national oztag player, he understands the demands sport places on the body.

His therapeutic approach focuses on reducing pain through massage and client education. Akin offers a wide range of techniques including oncology massage, dry needling, sports massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and Hijama — tailored to help active people stay healthy and return to training safely.

Linda Toutai is an experienced practitioner with a passion for helping people feel and move better — whether they're expectant mothers, everyday individuals, or high-performing athletes.

She specialises in pregnancy massage and sports massage, with a particular interest in athletic recovery and injury prevention. As a parent of sports-playing children, Linda brings genuine personal insight to athlete care, and is known for the personalised attention she gives every client.

Known for his professionalism and approachable manner, Vince is focused on real, functional improvement. Outside the clinic, basketball is his passion — which feeds his keen interest in sports rehabilitation and performance recovery.
